Mesmec and Carsoe – Strategic collaboration

Carsoe – a global food processing company – recently added plate freezing as part of the product portfolio through the acquisition of Freezertech. Carsoe will now strengthen the automatic handling solutions of the frozen blocks by forming a strategic collaboration with Finnish automation expert Mesmec.

Mesmec, founded in 1989, have a long history of automating the vertical plate freezing processes with the focus on user-friendliness, ergonomic handling and reduction of plastic. Mesmec designs complete customized solutions in a modern 3D environment.

By combining strengths Carsoe and Mesmec will be able to handle all aspects from automatic loading of the freezers until the point of storage. All projects will be handled through in-house resources and experienced management capabilities.

Through this collaboration both parties are looking forward to taking on new global projects within food, seafood and pet food industries.
